To anyone afraid to go to college:
I'm exactly who you need to meet.
I've changed my major seven+ times, and I'm finally comfortable. I'm a second semester sophomore. I'm a BA Socio/Psych major with a WGS minor. I'm graduating a year early.
Freshman year: before first day of classes: BS Psychology/Biology pre-med
Freshman year: on first day of class: BS Biology pre-med psychology minor
(yes I changed my major on the first day of classes(IT IS TOTALLY OKAY))
Freshman year: sometime during the first semester: BS Biology/Chemistry pre-med psychology minor
Freshman year: second semester: BS Biology/Chemistry pre-med psychology minor and women and gender studies minor
Late freshman year: BS Psychology with WGS minor and ecology/evolution biology minor
Sophomore year, first semester: BS Psych with WGS minor
Sophomore year, second semester, first week: BA Socio/Psych major with a WGS minor.
So even though you may be unsure about your major, it's okay. It'll all work out. Just don't hesitate like I did. If you feel something in your heart, change your shit. In the end, you wont like the classes, you'll do pretty shitty, and you wont be happy. You'll probably drink more sooOoOo. Change your stuff as soon as it doesn't feel right. Even if the next thing isn't right, you'll figure it out. And don't shy away from minors, it's easier to pick them up than you think.
Hey, I've changed my major seven times and I'm still graduating early.
If you follow something for the money, remember: money will come eventually, happiness wont.
