What health initiatives has Trelleborg already established?
Before I go ahead with brainstorming ideas for what Trelleborg could do to create a healthier workplace, I've observed and listed what health incentives/ initiatives Trelleborg has already taken:
Offers one free fruit per employee per day
Has equipped the cafeteria with a salad bar, with a wide variety of mixed salads
Has a Zero tolerance for alcohol policy
Reduced price on bottled water, making it much cheaper than a bottle of cola.
Trelleborg has hosted several “stop smoking” courses/ lectures from external lecturers
The company has several sporting activities available for employees. Activities include: Spinning, football, fishing, running, swimming, golf, tennis, fitness (center) and badminton, Membership is required to attend - annual fee of only 360kr per membership.
Trelleborg also arranges tours to several sporting events such as the DHL run in August, a ½ marathon in November and participarts in the national "Vi cykler på arbejde" cycle campaign in May.
Additionally, Trelleborg also organizes cultural and social events such as, bowling tours, family workshops, concerts and cinema tours.
