Hoorah, I finally IDed all of Sam Hooper's makeup tracks in this collage!

(By asking him about the ones I wasn't sure on.)

Sam Hooper was in the 2014 Asia tour and the 2015 Australia/New Zealand tour, so this collage includes designs from both. That means it also contains the blended Australasian/London designs from the latter tour, and the change in names of the tom kittens.

The four designs on the left in the bottom row are the Asia tour, the rest are ANZ.

Interestingly, for the ANZ tour, his makeup designs for Carbuckety and Bill Bailey look very different to the designs as worn by first-cast Tobias Madden and Taylor Scanlan respectively: Sam gives Carbuckety a grey eye patch, and Bill Bailey none at all. Compare Tobias and Taylor:

This does happen sometimes: for example, in the 1991 Zurich/Euro tour production, understudies for Pouncival and Tumblebrutus would wear their eye patch on the opposite side of their face to the first cast actors. And we have at least one character in the ANZ tour with a strong visual distinction between first cast and cover design: Alonzo!

First-cast Alonzo (Keanu Gonzalez) is fully black and white, as per the London designs; but cover Patrick Whitbread has some yellow in his wig, a throwback to the former Australasia designs!
