I fucked up. Life has been so busy that this was supposed to be released yesterday and I totally spaced on it. Oh well. I'm sure all twenty of you reeeeeeally care. Anyhow, this is the fifth installment of the ‪#‎2015FREESLUT‬ campaign, where I will be releasing a track every single Saturday of 2015! This is "Phaser". I'm going to be completely honest with you: I do not remember making this beat. I have a habit of producing 4-6 songs at a single time on my days off and it usually leads me up until 5am completely caffeine-fried from sucking back awesome coffee. This was probably one of those times. I really enjoy making foreground music. I'm not much of a fan of "chill" beats, as you kids put it. I want the shit I create to be the shit that COMMANDS your attention with authority. Life's too short for a lack of extremes. Yet, on the other hand, I really like futurey, distopian and spacey vibes, and with that, sometimes I reel back and create something like this. Something you can anti-grav float to. Revel in it, fuckers. I don't do this often. For these first couple months of #2015FREESLUT, we will be starting out slow with some instrumentals off my first beat tape Nothing Nice To Say Volume I. Once all tracks from an album are up on my soundcloud (@christoph-leon), I then release the entire album for free on my bandcamp (punkerslut.bandcamp.com/)!
