Release of Japanese edition for CROSS GENE’s new mini album 「GAME」 has been decided
CROSS GENE had a Korean comeback on January 21st. The Japanese edition of the mini album “GAME” will be released on March 23rd. The contents of it has been announced.
Just like the saying “Love=GAME,” this album has been filled with the songs that radiate the feelings of romantic men, who finally fell in love with someone, after experiencing lots of encounters and separations. This work is packed with a lot of musical pleasure; it can be felt that 6 men, who are from Korea, China and Japan, are like the protagonists of a sweet game.
All 6 songs, including the title song “Noona, You” in which manliness and prettiness coexist together, have complied.

Track 1: Noona Neo Malya (Noona, You)
“Noona Neo Malya” is a song that expresses the state of an earnest man gradually, while showing his manliness in a cute way, to the older woman who see this man as nothing but a young boy. Adorable sensitivity of CROSS GENE, who are overflowing with the image of young men thinking “To be seen as strong is manliness anyway,” is expected to be felt (with this song). In one song, each members’ special characteristics and personality can be seen in a charming way. Moreover, a variety of different genres like ROCK, EDM, HIPHOP and R&B, from each part, have been harmonically arranged. This tune is a charming composition of both diverse colours that each one of the 6 members show, and an addictive refrain which overflows with energy.
Track 2: My Face
“My Face” presents the feelings of a man who tries to “engrave” himself (in)to the girl that he fell in love with at first sight. It is a powerful dance song which expresses the delicate emotions of two people as if we were seeing a movie. The strength of the song is increased due to incorporation of Complextro, which is still rare in K-pop. It is a very addictive song that shows the manly image of CROSS GENE in a charming way and, that once you listen to it, you cannot forget.
Track 3: Kki
An original and unique melody, which was produced with synthesizer, and dynamically were magically joined together with a tight rhythm in “Kki.” It is a dance song in which the heart of a man, who struggles to grasp the heart of a woman, is expressed very directly. This piece interestingly expresses a message about winning the love without thinking of the consequences and may appeal to the fans of same age group.
Track 4: I'll be fine
CROSS GENE’s improved singing skills and sensitivity can be felt in “I’ll be fine.” This song describes the heart of a man who expects to hear the words “Let’s break up” upon facing with his girlfriend, whose way of talking, as well as facial expressions, has awkwardly changed before he knows it. It delicately expresses that one’s heart accepting reality is not an easy thing, even if the person understood everything and is mentally prepared. “I’ll be fine” couples an elegant sensitiveness with a simple yet catchy piano theme in addition to the sad lyrics that reflects (one’s) premonition of (a possible) separation. It is a medium (tempo) ballad song which pulls out the charm of CROSS GENE at maximum level because of its smart arrangement.
Track 5: Mr. Secret
“Mr. Secret” is about the love of a celebrity who is liked by everyone. This is a love story of a man who secretly confesses (his love) by saying “Come to my side secretly, without being found out by anybody.” Image of a man, who cannot tell (his love) to anybody even though he has someone he loves and has the sense of responsibility to protect his love earnestly no matter what, is put into the lyrics of “Mr. Secret”. This song delivers the deep emotions of that man who is willing to hide the person he loves behind his broad back, even though his own situation is difficult as well. Furthermore, this song successfully pulled the manly sexiness that CROSS GENE has out - even more - with the wild guitar riffs, strong brass theme, and simple rhythm.
