Final Thoughts | George Orwell’s 1984
After reading several other blog posts regarding George Orwell’s 1984, it seems as though my final thoughts were the same. Orwell’s words were dry and a bit hard to digest, but still had an odd air of intrigue at times.What I enjoyed the most about 1984, was the character development, especially that of Winston.
Interestingly enough, both Fahrenheit 451 and 1984 both have a strong character enlightenment that occurs with their main characters when being oppressed by their pressing and dystopic environments. With most books, the main characters have some sort of transition. Without it, the character would become lack-luster and hard to follow. However, when comparing Guy Montag from Fahrenheit 451 to Winston Smith from 1984, it is nearly night versus day. Although Montag was coasting his role as a fireman, but we witnessed quite a sharp change that lead his attack against the cause that he once stood for. However, when analyzing Smith, we see a much slower development. This very well may have been due to the fact that he did not have external assistance like Montag did (from Professor Faber), and did not have a larger scale oppression (as in Big Brother from 1984), but I often wondered why Orwell sought to take a longer approach with Smith.
Then, I realized...how would I react in a situation that Montag and Smith experienced? Honestly, I have no idea. Unfortunately, I find myself between Scylla and Charybdis.

After taking of the jacket there was this kind of feel（≧∇≦）
Following this, a pretty black costume☆
Of this costume,
It was wrinkled because of the photo shoot in the dark,
When the photos were taken,
Mamo-chan’s tension rose,
I had to undress (^^;;（lol）
The theme of the Live「GENERATING!」
Team Mamo’s design team also, the theme 「creation」,
Deeply deeply they thought about it,
What kind of form it would take。
The answer that the design team reached, was of course 「light」。
Light and shadow, skillfully used, with thoughts to create a unique representation, this work was chosen to be created。
