Woman... Rain love upon her ☺ I wanted to begin this year by honoring the women in our lives... our daughters, sisters, mothers, wives, friends etc. All people, men & women, who contribute positively to your life should be honored... but this statue specifically reminds me of the women who so strongly stand against weathered moments. I took this photo about 05:30 in the morning on a past July... and drops of water were still glistening over her during the sunrise when I walked up. It's a beautiful statue, and though my picture doesn't do it justice, I was really wanting to capture her strength & love as she 'reached out' to those in need. That's what I saw that day... The glistening raindrops were just a bonus against her golden skin :-) The statue is called 'The Woman In Peace Work' (Kvinnan i fredsarbetet) by Peter Linde.
