#2016SummerVacation goal: Play at all the parks in Redlands. This is Crafton Park near Wabash Avenue, a couple of blocks south of Lugonia Avenue.

From the street, Noah thought it was a baby playground. (“Only one swide.”) When we went up to it, he thought it was a little better because the one slide was actually three slides. (“Cool!“) When he went down the biggest slide for the first time, he went down so fast that he landed on his bottom. After a moment of being surprised, he shook it off and was excited to go back on the slides. ("Wow!”)

Two other kids showed up, and they played together in the little cash register/window part of the playground. They used the wood chips to pretend that they were a pizza making restaurant. (“PEPPWONI PIZZA READY!!!")

We stayed there for over an hour. It’s the longest time I’ve seen him play at a park. It’s probably because it’s the first time I’ve watched him play with other kids. ("Me come back this pawk. Me pway wif Micah agin.”)
