I believe this is the chronological order (including the possibility) of Kristen’s acting projects in 2018. (Chart read from Left to Right)

Those new in-development projects are not updated in IMDB, especially the “Cali” resurrection, but given by Production Weekly. (Thanks to fans sources)

Kristen’s Directing Projects “Speculation”:

We can only guess what Kristen’s directing projects are based on what she revealed during interviews and some press reports:

With NYT *strangely this Oct article has been removed : “Stewart is already developing several other projects, including a script she's writing that's an adaptation of a memoir (Stewart declined to say whose). She's taking two months off acting to write it, and she also hopes to turn "Come Swim" into a feature-length film.”

Also in a previous interview she mentioned there were two short films she wanted to make, a short film about gun control (*she whispered) and eventually she felt compelled to get “Come Swim” made first.

So there are at least 2 feature films (memoir adaptation and full feature Come Swim) and a gun control short film in spectrum.

Break a leg, Godspeed and Good Luck Kristen, on all fronts !

WIP Meme

Tagged by the lovely (if possibly evil) @andveryginger! For those following along who want an idea of what’s coming down the pipe in 2018...

1. Drastic Measures. This monstrosity of an AU is consuming my soul and my brainpower, and I’m possibly more in love with this than I am with canon KOTFE/ET. I’m not gonna spoil some of the upcoming shenanigans in this fic yet (you neither, Clan Piranha members!), but they’re gonna be GLORIOUS. hire me as a writer, BioWare.

2. The Family Business. I do need to work on Clan Taerich’s misadventures during Forged Alliances/Shadow of Revan! Next chapter should be Rakata Prime. Maybe. If I can ever get away from DM.

3. I swear I’m going to do work on the Hunks of the Eternal Alliance calendar. Eventually. Maybe.

I can’t think of any other WIPs I have ongoing at the moment, but I’m sure some other huge project will rear its head later on this year. You’ll see it if that happens. :D

2018 Writing Projects

this year i’m trying to get some of my long fics out of my WsIP folder and into the light of day. most of these projects have been ongoing for at least a year (or four) and i’m really determined to get at least a few of them done (first goal: START WITH ONE). anyway, i figured having a progress tracker would help hold me accountable. i keep track of my word counts and what not in my bujo, but i wanted it here, too because why not, right?

at this point in time i’m only going to put three up that i’d like to finish and post this year, but really there are about five that are all on my brain rightthissecond. i don’t want to get too ambitious though so we’ll see what happens.

anyway, here’s what’s on deck for me:

+ Grown Out Of My Ramblin’ Ways (working title...) (New title TBA)

About the fic: Dean and Cas reunite at a fifteen-year high school reunion and after one night together Dean’s ready to marry the guy. But then he’s got a daughter back home that doesn’t necessarily make that equation possible, and so he does the next logical thing: high tails it out of Cas’ hotel room and doesn’t look back. Well, mostly. 

Current Word Count: 72k (as of 1.28.18)

Estimated Word Count/Completion Date: 70-75k // Mid-Feb

Notes: I have completed writing this fic. It is now in the editing process.

Update about the blog and future projects

Thank you guys for the great questions you’ve been sending in as well as your likes and reblogs! I hope everyone had a good holiday (if you celebrate, that is). I should have the next post in the character series up soon. I’ve had a few other projects in the way, so I’ve fallen a bit behind on the blog. That’s the downside to going solo with this whole blogging thing, I guess.

The last thing I wanted to mention is that I’m currently working on a nonfiction series about the craft of writing fiction, one that breaks down the whole process from planning and first drafts to publication and marketing. I’m bringing in my personal experience as a professional editor to the books, and the plan is to have a companion series and e-courses to accompany the nonfiction series. I’m also working on another project that I’m calling Confessions of an Independent Editor, so I’m excited to share details about that soon.

I can’t wait to see what 2018 brings! I have a ton planned. :)
