Um. What. Why. Seriously. Why. 

I’m so numb right now. This is a nightmare, right? 

Please stop. 

No, don’t tell me that they’re also currently on the millionth remake of Return of Condor Heroes and stuff. That’s different. All those remakes are by different producers, different people, with different interpretations and approaches. 

But when you write a drama, and then proceed to remake it twice, yourself, it’s sort of sending a message. And not a good message. 

Seriously, after the 2011 version, who thinks this is a good idea? Please sell this to me. I don’t understand, and I run this blog.

Omg seriously another hzgg remake? Is she thinking because of the success of Meteor Garden 2018 she can have the same success? Btw I realised I can't comment on your blog? -kellentia

God I honestly don’t know what the logic is, if there is any, behind this second remake. It’s not like the 2011 was a success to boast about. And I don’t care enough at this stage to go poking around for what Qiong Yao actually has to say about this. There was a castlist being passed around in the last few days (probably unofficial/not legit). The names on it made me raise eyebrows a bit but that’s about as much strength as I can muster to react to this remake right now.
