The reason I made this blog
My Teacher made me.
Okay, she didn't MAKE me, but on the last day of school before Christmas break, we were talking in the morning about Christmas, how she was showing the movie A Christmas Carol, the Jim Carrey version (its the best, he's amazing, you can all bite me) but like the wonderful teacher/therapist/friend/pain even though she is right she is, my teacher was able to switch the conversation onto me, and what I was going to do with my future, my plans, and the age old question, "if you had all the time in the world, and a gazillion dollars, what would you do?"
HOGWARTS!!!
I thought about it, and a couple sensible ideas came to mind, like, starting a public library/internet cafe business, they both exist, but it would put both of then together, video games and little slices from worlds I'd love to live in more than this one books.
Or Hogwarts a place for nerds to go and just, be nerds(which is basically a convention, but hush.)
What I ended up telling her, was a place where I could be myself, I didn't have to put up a face, pretend to be someone else, or, I suppose a better explanation, displaying certain traits about myself that i know will impress certain people, while supressing other parts that would make people less interested in me, or extremely disturbed by what the actual hell goes on inside of my head.
She suggested to start up a blog, and with my friend standing beside me who kept bugging me to do this for the longest tine, I couldn't say no.
And, yea. That's my post for today. I do like this teacher, she is in charge of the English course for the IB program (I'll explain later) in our school, and I love books, so, it was totally great, instant friendship.
She also says I'm wayyyy to hard on myself, and lack self-confidence, and that I'm really smart and bright, which none of is true, and she said I was one of the people who actually understood Crime and Punishment by Dostoevky, which is a book-sized brick, and about as interesting as one too(gee, so many ideas i can talk about later on.)
I'll talk about that later as well, I'm going in to see Mary Poppins Renturns with my family. Hope it won't dissapoint!!
