Who did start the 2019 discourse/shitshow? Genuine question, I don't know if I have them blocked
To my knowledge, it was a person named Miles. And, to my knowledge, he wasn't in the most healthy relationship at the time.
From what I remember, he started posting about how hermitshipping was bad, and people began to follow suit. His boyfriend at the time (though im unsure if he's is boyfriend now) was Hal, who did most of the witch hunting and doxxing.
He was a big artist with connections to Doc and Etho through Scicraft, and nothing ever happened to him because of that. The only concequences he face was trauma from how people reacted to what he did. He was doxxing people, and in turn people were afraid of him, putting him on DNI lists for their own safety (didn't do much though...)
He left tumblr for mental health reasons and hasn't shown up in February of 2020 and hasn't been active often since. His url is ethoslab or miles3140. Don't tag him, please. I don't want to get doxxed again, though i doubt he remembers how he lead people to try and dox me in the first place.

Oh yeah also this is my formal apology for spiritually being on the other side of the 2019 discourse. I didn't say/do anything about it but I was on the other side and was mentally a bit of an asshole. I'm repenting for my internal crimes

honestly, mentally being an asshole but not saying or doing anything isn't being an asshole. You were still polite and I don't blame you for being on the other side of the discourse. A lot of people were, and I don't blame them for being there. The people I don't trust are the ones who caused it!
