What new skills have you learned this year? Whatcha gonna learn in 2020? I can't believe how much I learned in 2019. Foam clay, worbla, harnessing, hand-embroidery, bladed props, moving props, a bit of woodworking & powertools, conditioning vinyl, and tailoring vinyl garments. On top of learning new skills, I also improved upon everything I have learned in previous years. I feel like I am now proficient in sewing and improving my garment quality with every project! My planning process and workflow have improved immensely throughout the year, which is extremely important when I'm trying to pump out as many high-quality hand-made cosplays as possible. I also took a huge jump out of my comfort zone with my Sivir cosplay, and I do not regret it. For someone who usually cosplays characters covered head to toe, it was a great experience to try something new. Same for Arya - live action cosplay has always been SO intimidating to me, but I think I crushed the challenge!
