Hello it’s me, your supportive fun friend who thinks you’re literally the greatest hottest person on the whole goddamn planet.
So a friend sent this to me, and it was rather eye-opening to say the least. Ironically this very attitude is something that girls are taught not engage in. We aren't supposed to think we are hot or assume that people think we are hot. If we do, then we are bitches, snobs, arrogant c*nts, and sluts.
The article isn't preaching a mentality of arrogance though, but rather that we learn to love ourselves and see ourselves as attractive. Because the truth is, society makes billions of dollars off of fostering the belief in young girls and women that we are ugly and need to look better, be thinner, wear more makeup, and be quieter.
As a result, i think a lot of women don't know how to love themselves, because we are taught from childhood that we need to constantly change our appearance to please the men in our lives.
This certainly isn't only a problem geared towards women, but also to men, although I think probably to a lesser degree, in general.
Anywhoo...love yourself. You're worth it. And you're hot.
