In other news, if you wanted to see what other bullshit I’ve been on, I did publish 2 poetry books.

#AllTheThingsIShouldntHaveSaid isn’t terrible. It’s a series of poems written for a bunch of people who are no longer in my life as well as some poems written about my journey through recovery.

#YouSaidYouMissedMyPoetry was written and published exclusively for my fiancée. For the first year of our relationship I wrote a short poem every single day for her. I chose just a few of them to publish in an attempt to gather the courage to ask her to marry me.

I’m currently working on my 3rd poetry book scheduled for an end of year release this year (2025) (hopefully 🤞🏻) so keep your eyes and ears open for some cool shit. This new one has been challenging in a very new and exciting way!

shower. not a bath, a shower. use water as hot or cold as u like. u dont even need to wash. just get in under the water and let it run over you for a while. sit on the floor if you gotta.

moisturize everything. use whatever lotion u like. unscented? dollar store lotion? fancy ass 48 hour lotion that makes u smell like a field of wildflowers? use whatever you want, and use it all over.

put on clean, comfortable clothes.

put on ur favorite underwear. cute black lacy panties? those ridiculous boxers u bought last christmas with candy cane hearts on the butt? put em on.

drink cold water. use ice. if u want, add some mint or lemon for an extra boost.

clean something. doesn’t have to be anything big. organize one drawer of ur desk. wash five dirty dishes. do a load of laundry. scrub the bathroom sink.

blast music. listen to something upbeat and dancey and loud, something that’s got lots of energy. sing to it, dance to it, even if you suck at both.

make food. don’t just grab a granola bar to munch. take the time and make food. even if it’s ramen. add something special to it, like a hard boiled egg or some veggies. prepare food, it tastes way better, and you’ll feel like you accomplished something.

make something. write a short story or a poem, draw a picture, color a picture, fold origami, crochet or knit, sculpt something out of clay, anything artistic. even if you don’t think you’re good at it.

go outside. take a walk. sit in the grass. look at the clouds. smell flowers. put your hands in the dirt and feel the soil against your skin.

call someone. call a loved one, a friend, a family member, call a chat service if you have no one else to call. talk to a stranger on the street. have a conversation and listen to someone’s voice. if you can’t, text or email or whatever, just have some social interaction with another person. even if you don’t say much, listen to them.

cuddle your pets if you have them/can cuddle them. take pictures of them. talk to them. tell them how u feel, about your favorite movie, a new game coming out.

It’s not considered political violence to round up people and put them in concentration camps. It’s not considered political violence to fund ethnic cleansing and genocide. Very interesting what’s considered political violence and deemed unacceptable.

It definitely isn't considered political violence to annihilate the only housing that people have and push them even further into the cycle of poverty and destitution. Or to host certain people on a podcast and talk about how trans people are evil.

Seizing vulnerable women and abusing them in detention camps? Killing people by ending their life saving medical treatments? Not giving people medications in detention centers?

Now, the Republican Party’s anti-gun control stance is what really radicalized me against them in the first place, right after Sandy Hook. So, it’s my ideology that gun violence is bad and an absolute cancer on American society. It’s a true public health crisis.

But Charlie Kirk?

Well, according to his own words and own ideology, his death was worth it. He became a drop in the bucket of the tens of thousands of gun deaths Americans face per year—deaths his ideology and party have led to—all in the name of preserving the 2nd Amendment. He died for the cause, and I hope he’s happy in hell.

The irony of this new breed of self-righteous AI hunters on AO3 is that they're all just copy and pasting peoples fics into AI detectors, which are all operated by AI and therefore THEY are feeding people's work into the algorithm without their consent and in some cases no doubt circumventing the locks people put on to avoid getting scraped...

Don't copy and paste anyone's AO3 work into third party websites, you're not the good guys in this situation?
