Kiara's class ^^
CLASS OF 2020
I am a part of the class 2020. I understand many don't get what we are going through currently. Senior year is a time of joy for almost every senior. We take our final moments of highschool hanging with our friends, many of which we have made during our schooling careers. We thank our teachers for helping and guiding us through these tough years of adolescence. We also use these final moments to build lasing memories, of which will be able to fondly remember even into adulthood. This pandemic has ripped this from us. Senior prom is cancelled. Senior trips a thing of the past. Many of us seniors have also had to face the reality of not being able to walk the stage and have the graduation that we have all dreamed of. I grew up being told that at graduation everything would click, I would feel like I had finally accomplished this, I survived this long, I beat the bullies, I didn't let depression kill my grades, I actually did it. Graduating is a checkpoint in life.
I have noticed on social media that when we, the class of 2020, voice our pain and disappointment, we have many who attack. They call us selfish, stupid, childish, telling us to quit our whining because people in the world are dying. We don't need anyone telling us this because we know, it's kinda hard to miss when everyone is talking about it 24/7. We know we are "whining", we wish we didn't have to but we need to let it out. The amounts of crying fits I have had over this is overwhelming. I know it is a "simple thing" but I want to walk the stage like I have in my dreams.
The only nice thing I have found about all this is that it has brought so many of us seniors together, to share the hurt. As the saying goes, misery loves company.
We the rising class of 2020, we will make it through this. We are strong together. Don't let anyone push you down, your feelings are valid and we are here for eachother.
This 2020 has been a year full of changes.
After been in quarantine for a few months i started to play and look for different styles of design. I did this photo intervention with my nephew and halloween as inspiration.
Class starts tomorrow and IAMNOTREADY. But thats fine, its fine. Its supposed to be at 7 in the morning but its already 3 am right now cause We were binging back to the future and Im probably gonna be late for tomorrow but ITS FINE really fine.
