Happy new year to all my customers and those who just like to follow my work - I am so grateful to you! This year has been tough on all of us, and starting up this page has been a real light in the storm for me. Not only has it been wonderful to create art that's been so meaningful for a lot of you, it's given me a real feeling of purpose. I know I'm purposeful in lots of other ways, mainly as the mum of a gorgeous little boy, but this was the year I hoped to return to work more often and get some balance back. How wrong was I! Tattoo studios are once again closed, meaning we've been closed far longer than we've been able to open this year. Not being able to do the work you feel good at isn't a great feeling, I've felt a bit of a spare part at times! But painting pet portraits, and all the amazing commissions, have really helped me feel useful and creative. I'm looking forward to more of this in the new year, more for the Etsy page and some more things just for me too! However you're spending New year's Eve, I hope you feel some sparks of inspiration for next year. Fingers crossed it's a better one for all of us!
