2019 was a year that taught me a lot about priorities. . It also taught me a lot about confidence. . I learned to believe in so many ways. . 2019 taught me to believe in myself again. To believe in the work I put into my business, my horses, myself. So many good things happened in 2019, I can't even begin to count. And, I count every tribulation, every struggle, every tear, every moment spent reflecting on myself, as a blessing -- because I learned from them -- even if they hurt. Sometimes a lot of hurt. . I learned that what I want requires hard work, but more than that it requires focus; focus on the things that are the most important. Which meant I learned to say "no". No to jobs I didn't want to do: no to jobs that didn't value me, and no to jobs or things that didn't help me go forward. . I missed out on a lot of ranch work last year because my priorities had me getting Avie healthy. And I don't regret that. Because my priority is to make the NFR -- within the next 5 years. I'm saying that OUT LOUD, friends. To make that happen I'll need a lot of help -- financially, emotionally and mentally. I'll need sponsors, I'll need healthy horses, and I'll need to keep my team in-tact. . With hard work and dedication, I can make this dream come true. If I'm consistent in my days, with my work, with what I say "yes" to doing. . And with that, I'm off to go handle some horses, pack for the first journey of 2020, and practice my word-of-the-year - CONSISTENCY. . Thank you all for always encouraging me. I hope I encourage you as well. . #2020ishere #killingitin2020 #sdc_negativespace #hawk #snowyhorses #hifromsd #ranchlife #barrelracer #barrelracing #cowgirllife #cowgirlphotography #winterontheranch #thedxranch (at The DX Ranch) https://www.instagram.com/p/B6ylqQMA_5s/?igshid=1jkw14de1wrza
