October 1, 2021: Queen Letizia made a digital intervention at ‘World Food Forum’.

I greet all the participants in this first World Food Forum and I thank the FAO Director General for invitation. The idea of creating a space where young people can contribute their ideas is a great initiative, which provides context and continues the open debate at the recent United Nations Summit on Food Systems.

Now it's up to you, young people, to participate and contribute with your entrepreneurship and energy to the necessary transformation of food systems. According to the conclusions of last week's summit at the UN, we must guarantee healthy diets for all, we must ensure that all children have access to a healthy school menu by 2030 and women, indigenous peoples, small producers and young people must be, you must be, at the center of decision making within food systems. They are easy to pronounce sentences, but very complex when it comes to being implemented.

Your voice and strength, that of committed young people, will contribute to identifying challenges and promoting actions. It is about finding solutions that integrate the different interests and approaches of the world community that we form: governments, international agencies, local farmers and producers, women as the backbone of small-scale economies, large corporations, small and medium-sized companies. , distributors, workers from the entire value chain in food systems, scientists and the knowledge they contribute in the field of innovation… We are all part of a great circle: that of feeding ourselves every day.

That is why the FAO suggests that it is time to rethink our way of accessing these foods. Climate change, inequalities, hunger and malnutrition in all its forms, multilateral debates around the most suitable type of livestock, crop diversification or the integration of agricultural products and animal production, the need to integrate skills and the experience, the wisdom, of small producers, the advantages offered by short distribution circuits, local markets ...

The diversity of issues that comprise our daily diet is very complex. The international community, all of us, agree that food systems must be more sustainable, resilient and equitable, must restore and protect nature (seas, forests, soil), be climate neutral and provide decent jobs in inclusive economies. It is desirable. And surely with your drive in this World Food Forum we are closer to achieving it.

Thank you for your commitment, which is also that of my country, Spain, not only with the sustainable development goals and the 2030 agenda, but also with the collective effort that we must promote to take care of our home, which is our common pantry, and to take care of the people who live in it. I think it is a matter of extraordinary importance. It depends on this whether the right to adequate food for the entire world population is a reality.

担任との面談が始まった。

クラスの一人一人が面談室に呼び出され，担任と面談する。

一人が面談から帰ってきた。

泣いていた。

普段真面目に課題をこなしていくが，実習の話題や勉強の話題になると融通が利かず面倒な子である。以前，自分とも意見の違いがあり，ぶつかったが，一方的に嫌われた。

当然，泣きながら教室に帰ってきたのだから4人ほど彼女を囲んで慰めていた。

私はそれが気持ち悪かった。慰めてられている彼女の姿が気持ち悪かった。

誰にも心配などされず，慰められることもなく，ただ一人歩んできた。

そんな私も今日で22歳。まだまだこれからと言われることが多いが，もういいやと思っている。

所詮，誕生日などただの何でも無い一日である。

ただ，おめでとうと言われるだけ。

こんな捻くれたKazukiでごめんなさい。

もうすぐ償えると思います。
