Wait, what's IRIS? I'm so out of the loop. I am eating up these theory posts. 👀

From what I've gathered so far? My idea is that it's an organization founded by Jameson possibly with the goal of... something with "impossible sciences," like Henrik studying time travel and whatever the FUCK Marvin is doing with alchemy, possibly sorcery and who knows what else.

They observe things, based off other teasers we've gotten in the last 24 hours. The easy answer is Anti. The complicated thing is that Anti knows that, and given Overnight Watch? WE are probably IRIS members.

I'm writing a theory about "what IRIS is" on my main @isa-ghost as we speak, no idea how long it'll take me. It'll be compiling everything we've gotten about IRIS and my thoughts on what it could be or mean. Stay tuned :)

Aight, here’s my no sleep, little context/research take on I.R.I.S:

I have reason to believe this “industry” isn’t factored into time, like we’ve thought... but space.

This is their most recent tweet:

This to me says the entity this account represents seeks further than their own space. After all, what’s beyond one’s own stars, but another??

Consider with me, for a moment, That the egos aren’t separate entities in the same place, but the same entity in different places.

Chase would be a modern-era entity- a failed streamer/vlogger who is in debt and divorced.

Jack (character) is the same entity in a different place, as a SUCCESSFUL streamer/video maker.

JJ is a past-era entity, who makes films (short, Chaplin-like films from what we’ve seen)

And Henrik... Henrik might be the one who started it all. We know he’s more than just a medical doctor- we’ve seen him with future-like things and monitoring a wormhole... so maybe he is part of I.R.I.S... part of the team looking to go beyond their own means.

And what’s the first entity they encounter but, as all experiments do, a bug? A virus... a glitch..

Okay so about that Twitter Video

As far as I can tell it's obviously an analysis of Chases mental state mainly his traumatic divorce(?) which led to his alcohol abuse and depression.

I'm gonna be honest I have no idea what "ethereal presence" or "communicative Anomaly" means BUT maybe Anti is trying to communicate with Chase which obviously looks to other people like Chase is talking to himself.Im pretty sure Anti will possess Chase and help him escape.

All this IRIS stuff reminds me about the game AI The Somnium Files and all of the psychie traveling and (spoiler) switching bodies shenanigans there and I love it.
