The camera distorts and the footage is a lot more unstable when someone or something walks in. It only goes back to normal when they/it leaves.

What could cause that kid of interference?

This has to be linked with IRIS. What do they want with Sean?

Marvin is *not* a member of IRIS

 There’s very few solid conclusions you can come to from the new video only guesswork but here’s one that I’m pretty sure of.  “But Chey!” you may ask “how can you be so sure? We didn’t even see Marvin in the newest video!”. That is a good question and one I will answer here today!

   First of all let’s establish one thing very quickly, WTCHR is most likely before all of the other videos chronologically, this is not a sure fact, but it would make sense if it were, so we’re going to be acting like it is a sure fact in this theory.

  That would mean WTCHR is before Argentum Inanis. In WTCHR it is said that IRIS has an Antimatter generator. In Argentum Inanis, the book says IRIS = ANTMATTER. This is where my theory comes in. 

 You see, in the book there seems to be two different writings.

 One written carefully and neatly and another in big dark strokes oftentimes scribbled in the corner and sometimes seemly having blacked out some words of the original text. They are visibly different handwriting so they’re not by the same person. The neat writing is probably the author of the book, that would only make sense considering it’s the majority of the text. The dark writing is probably Marvin’s notes. Scribbling things he knows but the book doesn’t say into the corners and crossing out stuff that isn’t true/irrelevant. He even underlined Argentum Inanis! That meaning that Marvin was the person who wrote IRIS = ANTIMATTER.

 But see, that begs the question; if Marvin were a member of IRIS, why would he write that? As a member of IRIS he would know all about the Antimatter generator, wouldn’t he? So why would he need to note down that IRIS = ANTIMATTER? Also the note feels a bit...impersonal. Like he doesn’t IRIS personally. That’s not really founded on anything, it’s just a vibe.

  Besides Marvin comes across as someone searching for information but getting way more than he bargained for in Argentum Inanis. If Anti was really created by IRIS as we’ve theorized, wouldn’t he know? Honestly it seems like: IRIS made an Antimatter generator, something went wrong and Anti happened, Marvin caught wind of some shit going on so decided to investigate, and Marvin gets in over his head and gets possessed. 

  The dark notes *could* be written by someone other than Marvin. Maybe by Marvin’s teacher or predecessor who got murked so Mavin decided to take up the mantle. We have no proof this person exists so let’s just assume the notes are Marvin’s.

   In conclusion, Marvin is not a member of IRIS, he’s just someone who got more than he bargained for.

Wait, what's IRIS? I'm so out of the loop. I am eating up these theory posts. 👀

From what I've gathered so far? My idea is that it's an organization founded by Jameson possibly with the goal of... something with "impossible sciences," like Henrik studying time travel and whatever the FUCK Marvin is doing with alchemy, possibly sorcery and who knows what else.

They observe things, based off other teasers we've gotten in the last 24 hours. The easy answer is Anti. The complicated thing is that Anti knows that, and given Overnight Watch? WE are probably IRIS members.

I'm writing a theory about "what IRIS is" on my main @isa-ghost as we speak, no idea how long it'll take me. It'll be compiling everything we've gotten about IRIS and my thoughts on what it could be or mean. Stay tuned :)

Ok so Fin posted a thing with three questions for ego stuff for funsies, but one of my responses got me thinking and im gonna ramble in here about my thoughts:

So the question at hand is "where the fuck did Henrik go during "vacation"?" and with the information from IRIS... i think i might have an idea I think this holds the key to that question, and this new theory of mine:

When Henrik went missing, he was all over the place; desperate and frazzled... it fits the bar of "sudden high energy" or even "someone you don't recognize" if we take Hnerik's question of "what is this?" in a literal sense... It could be that Anti, as a virus, was spreading and corrupting Henrik, where in the WTCHR program caught on, alerted the C&C of IRIS and they sent a team to contain both Henrik and Anti- or at least Henrik for sure... that's why he went missing... his "vacation" might've been with IRIS... cause look where he ended up he was doing advanced science stuff, writing desperately... he was almost someone completely different....

and IRIS has a device to increase one's intelligence...

maybe the Doctor became the Subject during that time...

100 years would make it’s founding 1922.

That’s 4 years after the Great War and would be right in JJ’s era.

What if JJ was a founder of IRIS?

Maybe after witnessing the horrors that came with fighting in the trenches, he goes to IRIS to seek treatment for his PTSD after it isn’t taken seriously by doctors.

What if Marvin got kicked out of the Magic circle for revealing deep and dark magic to IRIS. As a result, he became a rogue agent, spying on the magic circle and helping IRIS further than he originally thought.

Then, not realising how far the scientific company would go with the knowledge he gave, he stumbles across them pushing the boundary too far: discovering antimatter itself in a highly dangerous part of the universe that even the deepest parts of the magic circle dare not tread in The mirror dimension.

Disturbed by what he’s seen, he scrawls the warning in his spell book ‘IRIS=Antimatter, alert the AIMC immediately’ and tries to get to them but IRIS has gone too far in it’s quest for knowledge, they can’t let anyone else know what’s going on and a certain, unstable, glitchy entity is set loose to track down the magician before he can warn anyone….

I wonder what they will do now they have seen a gargantuan surge of followers 🤔

Will their plans accelerate? Are they excited to see such interest?

Are they the watchers of us ? Do we watch them?

Is their page a window of which both parties see in and out from?

Are they collaborators or conspirators?

It’s going to be very, VERY interesting to find out.
