I would rather lose this entire war than live without you, and if that means I have to prove myself over and over, then I'll do it. You gave me your heart, and I'm keeping it.” Rebecca Yarros, Fourth Wing

Latest read of 2023 finished is Heat Wave, the final part of The Extraordinaries cycle by TJ Klune This whole series has been absolutely excellent, with not just brilliant queer representation throughout, but also some of the best representation of neurodiversity and ADHD that I have ever read. There was so much I recognised in the book, that I felt seen not just for one aspect of myself but for many, which is probably what got me so hooked and how I burned through the whole series so fast The only thing bad with the series to me is that I want more! But what we do have is excellent, and I cannot recommend it enough #theextraordinaries #HeatWave #TJKlune #2023reads #books #bookstagram #reading #literature #ya #mlm #romance #superheroes (at Cardiff city centre) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cp92DBAMllF/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

"My breath catches and my body warms, the traitorous bitch. You are not attracted to toxic men, I remind myself, and yet, here I am, getting all attracted.” ― Rebecca Yarros, Fourth Wing men like Xaden >>>
But I want to stand with you when it rains, when the wind comes. When it’s hard and the odds are stacked against us. We didn’t always do that before, but I believe if and when trials come, we will stand together.”' ― Kennedy Ryan, Before I Let Go

“But you still haven't said you love me." "That's not true." "You haven't." "I say it all the time, I just say it very, very quietly. I tell you when you're in another room, or right after we hang up the phone. I tell you when you've got headphones on. I say it after you shut the door behind you. I say it in my head every time you look at me.” Sarah Hogle, You Deserve Each Other

I love this woman. The day she set my house on fire was the luckiest day of my life. It truly is the luck of the Irish: perverse. Inexplicable. And utterly fantastic. “Do you forgive me for losing it in the first place?” she asks me, slipping her slim little hand into mine. “I shouldn’t tell you how much you could get away with, Aida,” I say, shaking my head. “But you already know that I’d forgive anything you do. - Sophie Lark, Brutal Prince
