After I prayed salat this evening, Felix laid down on my arm as usual after I finished salat. I couldn’t help but get emotional. Alhamdulilah I’m so grateful to Allah for bringing me Felix. I think about the odds it took for me to have Felix in my life. Think of the life I was living at the time when I met Fortun. The fact that it took her mistaking me for someone else and me randomly deciding to exchange numbers with her that would in the end lead to Felix. Even though our friendship couldn’t last, I’m grateful to know in hindsight maybe she was meant to bring me Felix. Who knows, I hope I brought some semblance of faith or positivity to her life as well. I pray she’s in a better place now inshallah. For Felix alone she deserves my Du’a but also because I know of her hardships and unfortunately I met her during a time when I was going through my own issues and had low iman and low self esteem. And at the end of the day in hindsight I know that only Allah can push forth people to change their circumstances and that truly there’s nothing more I could have done but make dua for her. So I’ll make dua for her and pray Allah has brought her some healing and increased her iman and took her away from the life style that wasn’t serving her in this dunya or in the akhirah. But in the meantime I’ll enjoy my little Fefe bear and be grateful that Allah brought me the little joy of sunshine in the form of a fur ball ❤️Alhamdulilah and Allahu Akbar ALWAYS!
