Earth will get a second moon (2024 PT5)
for two months when a small asteroid will begin to orbit our planet. This mini-moon will begin revolving around Earth from Sept. 29 to Nov. 25. The mini-moon is approximately only 10 meters wide and will follow a “horseshoe path” instead of completing a full revolution, so it will be very difficult to see the asteroid from Earth.
