Power and Performance: 2025 Toyota 4Runner
On the 2025 Toyota 4Runner, you’re getting upgraded performance and a powertrain right under your hood. This 6th generation Clermont Toyota comes with a 2.4-liter turbo four-cylinder i-FORCE engine. This engine is standard on the SR5, TRD Sport, and TRD Sport Premium. In addition, you have the option of a 2.4-liter turbocharged i-FORCE MAX hybrid powertrain standard on the TRD Pro, Trailhunter, and Platinum and optional on the TRD Off-Road, TRD Off-Road Premium, and Limited grades. But how much power is that exactly? Well…
i-FORCE 2.4-liter turbo: Up to 278 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque. An estimated 26 MPG highway rating.
i-FORCE MAX Hybrid: Up to 326 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. This is an estimated 24 MPG highway rating.
