In response to 20578 (about IFH glamourizing mental illness)
KEEP AN OPEN MIND. Just because they sing about depression and self-deprecation and that people tend to (over)hyped their songs doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re glamorizing it. To be honest, “to glamourize” should be used with caution. Recently, it’s being used by critics and people who love to complain about little things. It’s a easy-to-claim argument towards artists who incorporate such themes in their music in order to appeal to the masses, to gain instant connection especially thru lyrics. Such thing doesn’t necessarily mean that they glamorize or romanticize these bad things. Depression is a real thing. For IFH, it is something that must be addressed using their own means, music. IFH uses music to fight against it. You seem to forgot that they have released self-empowering songs before, like “Under the Knife” and “Fight”. That’s IFH were SUPPOSED TO BE.
