Alien (1979)
Oh, and it’s a fucking Furthest Ring server, that’s just great!
This evil hell-virus is probably sharing an IP block with Rose’s walkthrough!
When executed, the subprogram will summon an indestructible demon into the recently voided universe.
...sorry, it’ll do fucking what?
What the fuck is actually happening. Is this ‘demon’ the as-yet-unseen Lord English? Or maybe Snowman, who’s ‘indestructible’ in the sense that killing her destroys... the...
Is that why the Felt keep Snowman around? So they can kill her some day, destroy the universe, and trigger their virus?
Why are the Felt suddenly so important?
This monstrous being with the power to travel through time is inconvenienced very little by his arrival upon THE GREAT UNDOING.
Not Snowman, then. Whoever this Felt demon is - probably Lord English, let’s be honest - he probably has the greatest time gimmick of all.
I’m picturing an unrestricted time power - true time manipulation, with the breaks fully off. Maybe he has every Felt power, and then some, or maybe he has a power so broken that he doesn’t need any others.
He’s also indestructible, so his gimmick must also offer him some sort of absolute protection. I speculated before that he might be able to nullify timelines where he dies, but since he can also travel through time, there’s more to his ability than indestructibility.
Why are the Felt suddenly so threatening?
In a reality he is known to have marked for predation, he will go about assembling followers through various epochs, even going as far as personally establishing the parameters for his future summoning.
Well, the Demon certainly knows how Paradox Space works. When you want something done, make it a time-loop, and let fate do your work for you.
The sudden scale of this is blowing my mind. This guy invades realities?
Sollux couldn't know that the virus is essentially a formality. The demon is already here.
Well if that ain’t the most ominous line in the comic so far.
