I'm going to thank you as well. I think the "miracle of life/fresh baby" thing is beautiful, but the process is not something to romanticize; I say this as a future Nurse-Midwife and a mother, but I do not advocate C-sections over vaginal birth because it is a major surgery and should not be done over being grossed out. Blood, amniotic fluid (which is 99% sterile baby urine), and sometime feces are involved. Strep B can be involved. Hell, even blood/black shit comes out of that umbilical cord.
Yeah, they described all of that in the video I watched about natural birth.
