Ever wonder how all those people managed to acquire a 20 Faces’ mask? Now you, too, can become 20 Faces! (note: please don’t)

The official site provides a convenient template to create your own here. Just click on the box outlined in yellow to get the pdf.

This photo is from the official site. I haven’t actually made it since I don’t have a color printer.

I won’t be translating all of the instructions, just the words found on the template itself. It’s pretty intuitive, I think.

のり: white boxes marked with this indicates a place where you need to use glue

△：山折り: where you see white triangles, use the origami mountain fold

▲：谷折り: where you see grey triangles, use the origami valley fold

裏にのり / うらにのり: the boxes with grey stripes; these are marked with letters (A, B, C, etc.); use glue to connect the two areas, gluing one to the back of the other

くりぬき：cut out the area (for the eyes)

For the straps, there are two sizes. If you want the small size, cut off the end (on the solid line marked by the “S”, not the dotted line.

Dotted lines = fold

横ひも：horizontal strap; there are two straps, you need to connect them as indicated by the letters

縦ひも：vertical strap; one end connects to the very top of the mask (H), the other (G) connects to the horizontal strap
