Edmonde Guy (1903-1951) was a French dancer and film actress. From 1921 Edmonde Guy formed a famous dance couple with Edmond/ Ernst Van Duren. They performed all over Europe and the US, where they were engaged by Florenz Ziegfeld for his Palm Beach Follies (1926). She plays in 8 films between 1922 and 1938.

Art Deco Ankara Dancer statue by Claire Jeanne Roberte Colinet (French, 1880-1950), 1920.  

Claire Colinet's sculpture has become highly desirable to collectors and, increasingly, is selling for exorbitant sums. At a Christie's sale on 4 May 2007, her Ankara Dancer statue from circa 1930 sold for a hammer price of $285,984. (x)
