I'm overwhelmed by the love shown by my illustrious alma mater in preparation for my exhibition, "High Cotton: Paying Homage to & Celebrating My Intergenerational Roots." Their attention to detail and responsiveness to my vision is beyond exceptional. What amplified my joy was my dynamic interactive artist talk today!The students and faculty showed up and out! I was beaming with pride engaging in cerebral discourse with my fellow Aggies about Afro Folk Art by freedom clay and the exhibition's theme. Simply, wowzerz!!! Then to walk around campus and see flyers promoting my talk left me speechless. I was done when I saw my name in lights in rotation on the university's marquee highlighting the calendar of events. This is Aggie homecoming 2017...my 20th Year reunion! I'm honored and humbled. Much love to the Lyceum Committee for inviting me to showcase pieces of my HeART.
