We hit the road...
After a late start we finally hit the road on our way to Monticello for our first night of the big RV trip.
We had decided to cook a roast in the crock pot as we drove. We had some issues with the inverter as we drove, but finally figured it out. We stopped at the side of the road for our dinner and it was awesome. As we drove away a dog, that looked so much like Grace that we freaked out and thought Grace was outside, walked in front of the vehicle. It was a very weird experience. By that time it was dark and we did not know if we were going to make it to the RV park we had reserved a space at. We did, but they had given away our space. Luckily there was one space left. We took it and had an ok night's sleep. The Mountain View RV park was OK, but if you have a choice just go and stay at the needles district of Canyonlands.
