In a world where we sing and talk so much about love, I hear very little about how to RECEIVE LOVE. When I offer you love, I offer you me- my culture, my history, my future, my depth, my height, my fears, my hopes, my all. And the truer, the deeper the love, the more fragile and sensitive the package is. To receive it shabbily is to kill me. We cannot insist on wearing quills and complain no one loves us. Make yourself lovable. You are not the only one with a painful history. My people say: “We don’t stop drinking water because our child drowned”.
