'As One', the absolute BEAST of a song that opens up 'The Blue Hour' and the song that Suede have begun every show with since they released this album. The demonic choir/orchestra preamble of a song they play before they come on. The lights go down. The fog kicks in. The chanting begins. The band - all but Brett - walks out in darkness. Everyone goes insane. Neil takes his place. Watch him count down until Richard can come in with his squalling guitar. Soon after, our lord and saviour Brett emerges from the shadows to screams of adoration. The photo pit is also going crazy and Brett is working it, giving them stunning photographs like no other. Suede have really created a masterpiece with this song.
I was able to watch episodes 11 and 12 of Madoka Magica, meaning I successfully did it. I watched every single episode of Madoka Magica, as it aired on Japanese TV 8 years ago to the day for every episode, without any of the updated visuals for the Blu-Rays, locked at 480p and hardsubbed in Spanish. And it was a good time! Definitely among the weirder ways to consume a show, but it's my favourite show ever and watching the TV airings of the episodes is a good way to celebrate their 8 year anniversaries. Very glad this went through without a hitch. If I couldn't watch the TV airings I'd have watched episodes 11 and 12 on DVD when I'm back at my mum's later today, but thankfully TV airings worked fine so yeah. I'm rambling now, finna go walk the dog.
If TS7 is called The Butterfly Effect I’m gonna throw hands

Delicate Mind
Date : 21 April 2019
Duration : 25 minutes at bedtime.
Depth :
There is nothing special about last night’s meditation session. Sometimes I get the feeling that these are the sessions that count the most. When one meditates for the minimum set duration on a day when the concentration doesn’t comply, it matters to have completed the session. If nothing else, then you will learn to be patient with your own mind during such sessions.
Yes, a handful of suspended breaths were part of my experience last night. Unfortunately, my mind kept going back to the conscious, to the senses and their stimuli. It was as if the mind wanted to give attention to the body and its environment. And not give attention to the subconscious. That’s ok. Sigh. Some nights are going to be like this. There are ways in which the attention will find its way out while I keep up my practice of re-turning the attention to what matters. Cool.
If I had meditated longer than 25 minutes, I would surely have arrived at a satisfactory depth. Presence of mind goes missing when one needs it most. Also, not applying will power to increase meditation duration is quietly keeping me from spiritual advancement. I am afraid to upset the apple cart. I fear that I will not meditate at all if I experimented with my settings on Insight Timer.
