そういえば昨日のワクチン接種の際、医師に「アレルギーはありますか?」と聞かれ「えっと... 猫アレルギーなんですけど、特に問題とか...」「ないですね。猫は入ってません。」という、ほのぼのした会話があった。

I don’t want to sound like I'm being a bitch or really ungrateful but the amount of artists who have pushed back album releases is ridiculous. I know it doesn’t really apply to anyone on this blog (to my knowledge as I don’t follow everyone) but you would think they would release them so the fans have something to look forward, to or so they can make some money through having people purchase them on platforms such as ITunes. I sure as hell know I would release mine if I was an artist as a way to cheer my fans up a bit.
(Mod note: sometimes idk what picture to use on confessions that don’t mention a specific band, so for this one I decided to use a picture of The Birthday Massacre’s Diamonds because well, they did the opposite of this and leaked their album on YouTube a week early for their fans)

@21020: I can see your point but we do have to keep in mind that a lot goes into recording an album. Bands may be done recording their albums but the mixing/mastering may not be done and I’m sure that the pandemic is affecting their ability to do that as well. And some bands may not even be done recording yet. Some labels and bands are continuing to release albums digitally if they are finished but we do have to keep in mind all of the things that go into creating an album. Just like with live shows, no one wants to postpone the release either.

@21020 I completely agree with you for the most part. My favourite released theirs and I am so grateful for it.
The reason I think so many artists have likely pushed theirs back is due to the behind the scenes aspects, like every track needs to be finalized and fully mastered, the album and singles artwork needs to be sent in, and copyrights need to be submitted many months in advance to be able to release tracks if they are going to get radio airplay, but I could be wrong.
