Day 19: My Queen. Today marks 6 years since we have been together, 2 years since I proposed and nearly 6 months since you became my wife. You are truly my everything, all that is me. I’m the luckiest man in the world to have someone go through so much planning to surprise me with a trip to Newcastle, taking me away to Italy for my 30th, blessing me with the most beautiful daughter, soon to deliver me another and so much more. I was never truly whole until I met you and I’m glad that 7 years down the line I get to call you my wife and have the privilege of growing old and spending the rest of my life with you. Day 18: Newcastle - So here was me thinking me and Rick were going for a Champange Brunch this morning (Supposedly it’s not a real thing 🤷🏾‍♂️). Next thing you know I’m surprised by the mandem waiting for me saying we are going Newcastle! So after 4 hours, 2 bottles of champagne and a can of JD Cole on the train, quick munch at KFC we are now planning the massacre that will be tonight. I was so surprised by the whole thing and must say I have the best Wife and friends ever. Day 16: Siblings - I have always loved being one of 5. Every memory I have of our childhood is nothing but joy and smiles. Even times thinking of getting in trouble make me chuckle (Although at the time it was a different story). The love I have for these 4 can’t be described. Especially as we have all gotten older, we may not see each other as often as we want but the love never decreases. I know each and everyone in this picture would be there for me at the drop of a hat and vice versa. All the disagreements, fights, grudges and whatever we may have had, have or not yet come mean nothing coz you lot are my blood and that’s all that matters. That extends to all my nieces, nephews and partners. Day 9: Liverpool FC - So this also doubles up as a #TBT. Not sure how old I was but I would say between 9/10 coz I don’t feel I had them secondary times. Maybe Hype has a picture with the date on it. I loved these PJs and was so gassed when I got them. So here’s the Liverpool story. I think it was about year 3/4 (so 95/96) when I chose my first football team and imagine it was QPR. The reason? Rangers....Power Rangers....SOLD 😂. I think that only lasted a couple weeks until I decided I supported Liverpool as it was the first match I saw on Tv and refused to change teams ever since. There have been many ups and downs and I defo refused to watch matches for like two seasons due to frustration BUT I would never deny my team no matter what criticism came my way. My only disappointment is I still haven’t seen a match in Anfield....pretty shameful. Day 6: Barbados 🇧🇧 and Jamaica 🇯🇲 - Being a mix of these two countries have brought so many classic memories and it would only makes sense that the first two family holidays as grown folk were to these places. Barbados was during Crop Over and Jamaica was during Dream Weekend. To say life was lived would be an understatement. Love, laughter, alcohol and family. Can’t get any better than that. Personally I preferred Barbados but I would defo do Jamaica and dreams again. Bring me back to sun, sea, sand and Rum (#MountGay preferably!).
