Contact sheets of photos taken of John and Paul by David Bailey on 21st January 1965, for his ‘Box of Pin Ups’ project, a portfolio of 36 portraits of ‘Swinging London’s’ elite, who as the cover stated, ‘belong to Bailey's own world of fashion, pop music and the Ad Lib [nightclub]’. Other icons in the collection included Micheal Caine, Jean Shrimpton, Mick Jagger and Ronnie and Reggie Kray.
