Opinion on peace

All else being equal, House prefers peace to war, but he believes that war can sometimes be useful/necessary. After all, the war between the NCR and the Legion was all that stopped the NCR from annexing New Vegas. In that case, peace would have been worse for Vegas in the long-term. (At least, he thinks so.)

He’s rather cynical in believing that most peaces are just preludes to another war.

Opinion on love

House sees real love as more of a choice than a feeling. It’s choosing to value someone (or somewhere) over your own self-interest. (e.g. like his parents did by torpedo-ing their own lives to be together.) Words are cheap; emotions fade; choices last.

He doesn’t think love is an inherently good or bad thing, any more than he thinks greed or ambition or other motives have intrinsic morality. But because love clouds objectivity by its very nature, he does think it warrants caution.

A romantic, House is not.

Favorite weather

Dry heat, as is common in Nevada. Preferably with a gentle breeze. (He can’t stand cold or humidity.)

The line between flattery and desperation is delicate, one he’s careful not to cross. He doesn’t say that she’s his only option, that he needs her more than she needs him, that inviting her into his home is a gamble Benny forced him to make. (The betrayal stings, still. House doesn’t dwell on the emotion.)

How my Muse acts differently around their love interest(s)

Domitius is a little less hyper-vigilant when he’s around someone he’s interested in, more focused on them. He’s not looking above his shoulder all the time expecting an enemy to pop out. His voice is softer too, he tries to tone down his aura and tries to be more polite but rarely succeeds.

What my Muse admires about their love interest(s)

He’s always admiring people who aren’t afraid of him, even more when the person is showing romantic/sexual interest for him. People who don’t try to submit interest him the most.

What sort of daydreams / stray thoughts they have about their love interest(s)

It’s mostly about worrying for them, hoping they are not in danger or dreaming about saving them from danger. That’s the biggest part of his thoughts about his interests otherwise  ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Their worries/insecurities regarding their love interest(s) 

He’s very self-aware of his Legion past and how people can react to it. He’s afraid they will discover his link to the Legion or end up being bored/annoyed by his instability, nightmares, paranoia etc… He’s also very scared he’s going to hurt them, he has experienced violent blackouts and he’s mortified about the possibility he could wound/kill his loved one

How they express their interest/affection prior to a relationship

Small things like making them food, offering drinks, basically showing what seems to be vague interest about their passions/occupations. He would also talk about them to Dusty all the fucking time.

Bravery! Do something bold and unexpected, and he’ll see himself in you and love you for it, to be quite frank

If you asked him this he’d make some kind of joke about the scent of almonds bringing back memories of the time he cyanided the headmaster at the orphanage or something

She just kind of silently notes it, if she can help it she’ll avoid those topics or situations in the future. If it’s something she thinks is silly like, scary movies or ghosts she’ll tease them just a little.

She can’t really sing that well but it’s not like deafening. She used to sew and knit things for a while, she still does when she has the time. She doesn’t like to spend time on things that don’t bring her money.

She admires people who are well liked, or people with a lot of family and acquaintances. Borders on jealousy because she can’t figure out how someone can like, form lasting relationships that aren’t based around money and sex.
