Hi hi anon ! No worries for english it's not my native tongue either.
Leila is indeed muslim ! Their religion is a major thème of their route that I intend to explore as I am myself a queer non binary muslim and I think queer muslims deserve to be represented in a genuine and human way since this representation lack a lot in médias and in general life sphères. Leila isn't my only muslim character Aisha also exist but she has a very small game so it's not really worth mentioning, I just like Aisha.
And small note on this topic, I have to share the existence of Sakura from Butterfly soup :
She's a side character but I really like her, and I like butterfly soup. Everyone should play butterfly soup at least once-

Hi anon ! I’m honestly surprised some of you haven’t picked up on this yet but let me explain !
TW : parental neglect and childhood trauma.
Clem is a queer kid growing up in a small town during the 2010s. That alone has a big impact, since he’s seen as “ the odd one out. ” Even something as simple as growing his hair out as a “boy” is viewed as strange. Everything about Clem’s gender identity and self-expression is mocked. Both he and Aurore have always been outsiders.
Clem for being queer, and Aurore for being both queer and a poc.
On top of that, Clem can see ghosts. This has been mentioned before, but yes he has the ability to perceive paranormal entities. The only other person he knows who shares this ability is his sister. Seeing strange things around you all the time definitely takes a toll, especially when it’s something you’ve experienced since childhood.
Now, about Clem’s main childhood trauma-
It’s only been hinted at in 21q, and I haven’t openly discussed it (only a few people who knew about Clem before the game was made would know, and that’s not many) but Clem has severe parental issues, which are at the root of most of his struggles as an adult.
Clem’s father lost his first wife (Eve’s mother) and remarried a few years later to Clem’s mother. After some time, Clem’s mother left the country (she didn’t want to deal with motherhood anymore, and she felt she couldn’t live in the shadow of her husband’s late wife). This alone left Clem deeply scarred and gave him abandonment issues, since as a child he assumed she left because he wasn’t good enough as a son.
After losing two wives, Clem’s father also broke down. He decided to leave Clem and Eve with their grandparents “for a while” while he traveled. But that short while turned into something permanent, and both Clem and Eve ended up being raised mostly on their own since the grandparents had to leave at some point. Being abandoned by both parents, Clem relied heavily on Eve but they were both still teenagers, and there’s only so much teens can do without proper guidance. Because of all this, both Eve and Clem fell into severe depression, though they coped in different ways: Eve turned toward apathy, while Clem turned toward self-harm.
Thankfully, they both received some support from Aurore’s father, who tried to invite Clem over to their home as often as possible.
In 21q, the whole sequence with the fishing competition was written with the idea that Aurore’s dad sent all the good photos to Clem’s dad, keeping only the one where Clem was crying. There’s also a difference in how Aurore and Clem remember that day : for Aurore, it was just a simple fishing competition, but for Clem, it was Father’s Day, and he only got invited out of pity because he didn’t have a dad to go with.
So, when you mix all of these experiences together and season them with depression, you get the “trauma salad” Clem is stuck with.
All of these plot points were planned long before I wrote 21q, but I didn’t want to make the game too heavy. Plus, realistically, there’s no way Clem would trauma-dump something that intense to someone they recently met. A lot of it is repressed or simply too painful for him to talk about openly.

Heyye i loved ur games!! Like omg lets meet tomorrow’s plot was SUPER DUPER interesting !! I loved it. And 21 questions became my comfort vn cause clem aurore and just everything in the game was comforting I LOVEDDD ITT. Oh YEAH uhh i wanted to ask sum other funfacts abt Clem cause I LOVEE THEM the leash scene made me giggle and all 🤧 they’re actually so comforting❤️🩹. PLEASEE FEED ME W FUNFACTS ABT CLEM😭😭😭

-Once he's out of the paranormal club Clem long life plan is to become a baker. He would like to take back Mr Suzuki's business since Aurore wants to be an artist.
-They tried to learn guitar to be cool at some point but always lost motivation when it came to actually study music learning. (He doesn't even know how to play one song )
-Clem was probably team Jakob in middle school. (Might also have been his queer awakening back then )
-Would lick a salt lamp, more than once. I won't elaborate.
-Clem is that one person who put all his songs in a like playlist and shuffle it for the right mood.
-Probably asked Aurore to draw him a fursona at least once.
-He learned english by watching vine compilation online.
-He likes to comb his hair and pretend he's Barbie from the Rapunzel barbie movie.
-He probably made a photoshoot of tinder guy fishing photo because it sounded really fun ( and he do go fishing )
32. What is your ideal working environment? A. My Ideal work environment would have to be an office. I would want the office to have very netural colors like space gray or black. I think neon colors are too distracting for a work environment and would cause the employees to be easily distracted. I like open work spaces instead of cubicles because I think cubicles are very restrictive to an employee. A good working environment also has a break room with a mini fridge and a keruig coffee maker. Another I find useful in a good working environment is a Idea or Image board where employees can post ideas or images.
