She couldn’t believe that someone was coming to such lengths to see to the death of Senator Amidala that they would also attempt her life. Such was her thought as she stared out of the window of the room she had to occupy in Senator Amidala’s apartment.
Just two days after the Senator had landed in Coruscant and her decoy was killed, Carlotta had been sent with some information to give to the Senator and landed on the planet herself, only for a sniper to try to take her out. It was assumed that whoever was trying to kill poor Padmé had assumed that she was the Senator.
The information had been delivered thankfully for the Senator to use in the Imperial Senate but now it seemed the Chief Diplomat of Naboo’s life was also in danger. Thus she was to share the Senator’s apartment, but also her bodyguards, two Jedi who Senator Padmé had known during her tenure as Queen. Thus Carlotta awaited to meet them, she recalled the help of two Jedi when the Trade Federation invaded Naboo, but one of them had died so she admitted to being curious as to who was to protect her.
