Feather Industries AT-22 .22LR carbine. I got to fingerfuck one of these at the gun show today and fell in love. General feel and looks remind me of the “Rhogun” and other mail-order simple guns of the mid-20th century. The seller was asking only 450, but he could not technically sell me the 6 20-round magazines included. If I’d had a little bit more dosh and maybe something to trade, I’d have been all over it.  It seemed like the perfect gun for new shooters, especially to allow them to get used to more “tactical” type guns.
