can you do a one shot where you're a music composer who's kind of a shut-in and bad with social interaction and you live in 221C and sherlock falls in love with you just by listening to your music when you play it in your flat? sorry if this is all over the place/specific
Reader x Sherlock
You sat in the blue chair in your living room and played the violin, exactly the same way you had for the past two years. The melody resonated throughout 221C and out into the world through your open window. Music was what you used to communicate to the world instead of words. It described feelings and emotions far better than words, and best of all, it didn’t involve any social interaction. Composing on your violin didn’t require you to step out into the world often, making it the perfect fit. After another hour of playing, you set the violin and it’s bow gently on the table content.
Sherlock listened to the sweet melody erupting from your violin everyday for the past two years in 221B. It was the one part of the day that consistently brought a smile to his face and warmed his heart. As a violin player, Sherlock admired the skill and dedication you possessed. He instantly fell in love with your music and the style that you played it in, and overtime, fell in love with you. Sometimes he would play a piece of his music back after you were done and waited you to respond with another melody. Sherlock laughed, amused that he had found someone that hates social interaction more than him.
“What’s so funny?” John asked, emerging with a cup of tea.
“Did you know that Y/N is probably the only person in the world that hates social interaction more than I do?” Sherlock laughed.
“Y/N from 221C?” John took a seat, looking intently at Sherlock. It was always surprising when Sherlock talked about another person willingly. “You two would be the perfect match.”
Sherlock scoffed, smiling. “Don’t be ridiculous, John. I don’t have time for a relationship.”
John gave Sherlock a knowing smiled. “Go talk to Y/N.”
“Fine,” Sherlock stood up. “If it’ll get you to drop the subject.”
Sherlock stood up and walked across the hall to 221C, softly knocking on the door. You froze in your tracks and took deep breaths, trying not to hyperventilate.
“I know that you hate talking to people,” Sherlock began, talking through your door, “But I wanted to tell you how much I admire your work- your violin playing.”
“T-Thank you.” Your voice cracked. It had been sometime since you had talked to another person.
“I, well, I was wondering if you wanted to play together sometime?” Sherlock asked. “It’s hard for me to find a violinist that I can still learn from. There aren’t many that are better than me.”
Cautiously, you approached the door, staring at it for a few seconds before opening it a small crack to look at the stranger outside your door.
“Sherlock, from 221B.” He told you.
“I know,” You said, softly. “I’ve seen your picture in the paper a few times.”
“Right,” Sherlock nodded ever so slightly.
You cleared your throat and spoke up. “If you want to play you can grab your violin.”
“Right now?” He asked. You nodded in response. Sherlock’s face lit up. “I’ll go get my violin.”
Sherlock ran into 221B and grabbed his violin before rushing back over to your flat. He smiled and you led him into your living room. You picked up your violin and sat down on the blue chair across from Sherlock. He nodded for you to choose the melody and set the pace. The bow glided over the violin’s strings starting a song that Sherlock happily played along to. Your violin’s sounds blended in smoothly, and occasionally the two of you could hear praises coming from your open window.
When the song was over, you smiled at each other. Sherlock was the first one to speak up. “I’d love to do it again sometime.”
You returned his smile. “Come back tomorrow.
Sherlock came back the next day, and every day after that for the past two years. He would come over, he would play, exchange a few words, and he would leave, until he professed his feelings for you. Then, he would come over, the two of you would play, have a meal together and he would leave. It was like that for the next three years, until he proposed. Now, the two lived together, always setting aside an hour or two for music. After all, it’s what brought you together in the first place.
It might just be me, but I feel like there are now a great many who would be interested in Mrs. Hudson’s other flat.
Because a family of urban foxes live in 221C when no one is looking.

I think about 221C Baker Street a lot more than any normal fan. Like did anyone ever rent it? Ever? Does Sherlock ever go down there? Sneak a smoke? Is that where John's chair went? Is Billy going to move in there? Would it be a good place for a dungeon? Did Jim just hang out down there while he was putting shoes there? Like honestly I think about it a LOT.
I wouldn't mind living in 221C Like shit, living under Sherlock Holmes! Would not mind, at ALL!!
