THE DUCHESS DIARIES
The Duchess of Cambridge visited the Roe Green Junior School for a Heads Together engagement on 23 January 2018. The school was selected as one of the pilot schools for the online project referred to as ‘Mentally Healthy Schools'.
Catherine visited the school to officially launch the new program aimed at helping children with mental health issues while also providing support to their teachers and school administrators, centered around a website providing vetted information for the school personnel.
She spent time with students who were engaged in activities with one highlighting the new mental health website. Catherine also met with teachers and additional school personnel, as well as other stakeholders.
Catherine brought together Heads Together charity partners, teaching organisations and mental health experts for the creation of the online project. She also delivered a speech about the initiative at the event.
