전시 제목을 '자유낙하'로 정한 이유가 궁금하다. 또한 동명의 작품인 '자유낙하(Free Fall)'(1994) 에 대한 설명도 부탁한다. 예술가가 된다는 것은 일평생 자유낙하를 결심하는 것과 같다고 생각한다. 알지 못하는 공간이 계속 이 어지고, 어디로 갈지도 모른다는 사실을 받아들여 야 한다. 이것이야말로 나를 위한 것이라고 여겼다.
I'm also curious about the decision to title the exhibition 'Free Fall'. Could you also tell us about the artwork with the same name, 'Free Fall' (1994)?
I think becoming an artist is like deciding to free fall for the rest of your life. You have to accept that the unknown space keeps going, you don't know where you're headed. That felt like it was for me.
