CANADA TOUR : DAY I - 24 SEPTEMBER 2016
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince George and Princess Charlotte touched down at the Victoria Airport as they began their Tour of Canada.
At the airport they were greeted by Governor General David Johnston & Mrs. Johnston Canadian and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau & Sophie Trudeau.
William and Catherine then visited the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia for the official welcome ceremony. They first honoured the Canadian military service by laying a wreath at the Cenotaph. The welcome ceremony included a 21-gun salute and an inspection of the Guard of Honour.
William addressed the public at the ceremony before they departed for the Government House for private meetings with the Governor General and Prime Minister.
