There is a certain level until where things are appropriate to do, which Yixing continues to breach on an almost daily basis. This time it’s stopping in the middle of a dance studio to unceremoniously peak through the small window in the door of one of the practice rooms and watch the young woman dancing inside. Spy on, is probably the word anyone would use if they’d see him standing there, tiptoed to be able to get a proper look, nose almost pressed against the glass.
And then she does this move, this wonderful pivot and jump thing, which he has never been taught in all his years of doing ballet, and he just needs to know it. So admittedly he only took ballet for about three years back when he was nine years old, but that is entirely beside the point. Because why anyone would not teach him an exquisite move like that goes entirely beyond him. (Maybe most of his enthusiasm about a simple dance move is his lack of sleep talking, but that’s beside the point as well.)
So what he does, right before his nose can actually start sticking against the window, is open up the door and barge inside like it is not strange at all for him to do something like that. “Damn woman!” The first words out of his mouth, enthusiasm audible in them just the same as he makes a widespread movement with his arm to include the entire room in it. “That was a beautiful move!”
The door falls closed behind him as he takes the necessary steps further into the room to come to an acceptable distance from the young woman. Where did you learn that, who taught you and more importantly; how can I do it!?“
