— I Should Live In Salt

Sitting by the table makes him only wonder what even made him come to the dinner party. Well, it wasn’t his good heart that melted at the thought of how generous it is of the host to hold a fundraiser for some children’s hospital. And it wasn’t the need to meet his old schoolmates, neither. To this day, Junhoe still hates every single thing about Cheongnam High.
He has seen many familiar faces already. Some people were all dolled up, trying to pull off the concept of the 50′s. With no one by his side, he just chuckled bitterly under his breath as he scans the guests up and down, not missing any imperfect detail in their looks.
Since he didn’t feel the party’s theme from the very beginning, he just went with a long wool coat in a color of a camel, plain black sweater along with dark skintight pants and a pair of polished Oxford shoes to complete it.
Junhoe’s glass is emptied once again, what makes him realize that he could make a use of a real companion. And like a bolt from the blue, his eyes catch a glimpse of Sammy, who clearly preferred someone else’s company over his. It takes him seconds to storm through the room and reach him with the gaze of a madman.
“Here you are,” He says almost whispering, resting his hand on the other’s shoulder. “You never abandon a friend in a time of need, isn’t it what you said?”
