The Wood appears as a beautiful, young woman with flowing hair. On her forehead is a leafy symbol and she has leafy, wing-like ears. She is one of the most gentle and docile cards and of the only few to be sealed of her own will. There were passing moments during the engagement party when Jiyong was slowly coming to terms with what was happening — or had already happened. After all, he had no power to do anything about it. He was treating himself with little encouragements. Life still goes on. The world’s not ending. Let them put on whatever act they need to keep up with. But it didn’t take long for him to feel down at heart once again and he wasn’t even sure whether he had a good reason to be this way. If he was to sum up those emotions that were continously piling up and overlapping each other, he was just confused.

He had been eyeing Sooyoung for a while now. After talking to Seunghyun, he needed to exchange some words with his fiancée as well. Though he was trying to find an excuse not to. Their relation itself was enough for him not to finally get up and step away from the table. Jiyong could imagine how their chatter would go and the more he dwelt on it, the more he was convinced that it would bring no satisfying effects.

Yet something eventually spurred him. Fixing his tie before doing the buttons in his blazer, he then headed towards her once another guest walked away, supposedly after wishing all the best. “I think we need to talk.” Without saying a greeting, he wanted to be over it by quickly getting to the point and not beating around the bush like his nerves and hesitance advised him to.

‘going to hell in a handbasket’ psy + csh

this was just miserable, honestly, and seunghyun couldn’t stop shaking. for the life of him, he couldn’t remember ever being this nervous, not even when he was in the running for movie awards or auditioning for a role. this was so much more terrifying because it was real, it wasn’t about a career or a movie, it was his real life. this would be how things were now, forever—or at least for the conceivable future. and he was pretty sure this was about to happen in front of literally everyone he had ever met or come in contact with—this was hell.

he sat in the back seat of his limousine, biting his fingernails, as the chauffeur pulled out of the driveway in front of prague tower to take him and sooyoung off to the event. his heart was banging against his chest like a drum, or a very angry animal trying to escape, like it knew how much of a shit-show this was about to be. perhaps he ought to have let his heart go, just set it free; it’s not like he had any use for it, right? it’s not like anyone else seemed to give a shit about it.

he only realized he’d been breathing heavily once he shut his eyes tightly and clenched his fist and his eyes, trying to calm down. after a moment, he looked over at sooyoung beside him, still disbelieving that this was even happening. they had to figure a way out of this. they couldn’t really get married—that would just be—how would they even—this wasn’t supposed to—

he bites his nail again, his brow furrowing, the urge to curl up on himself very strong. “soo, i don’t think i can do this…”

It was not easy to get a hold of Yoon Bora, she was a busy woman after all.

Most magazines have been trying to get her to have them feature her work but she has been having her assistant tell them that she’ll get back to them instead. It’s been a while since Seoul Fashion Week was over but the season were slowly changing and people are in for more of the trendy stuff. Only photos from the runway show were held by most magazines with her work and she decided to pick one of the many to have her work featured in it.

She had agreed to show them and have the models wear them for the next photo shoot. Bora had her assistant bring the clothes to the said magazine’s main office. One promise was done. Coming over as a fashion designer was even better. She came to the office just for the heck of it and have met a few employees who have told her that her work was such a work of art.

Humble as always, Bora would say that she will work even harder for the next release of her collection. She wanted to be involved with the discussion for the photo shoot that will feature her work. Classy and stylish was her theme for the day, only that she didn’t expect that she will need an extra amount of sass upon seeing a familiar face, that she wasn’t supposed to see anymore. Gosh.

Once again, the ‘Queen’ of Cheongnam stands face to face with her. Queen? What queen? Bora barely cared about her then and now, honestly. If only there was a way for them to not meet each other, Bora would love that but fate was cruel and their paths, have once again, crossed each other’s. “Oh, It’s you. Hello, schoolmate.”
