“Come on! We’re gonna miss all the fun.” Adrian turns around to look at you and your breath hitches. He looks absolutely adorable. Completely and utterly breath taking.
A carnival has stopped in good ole Evergreen and Adrian had insisted that the two of you go. You were pretty sure he’d implode if he begged any harder.
And right now you were so happy that he had finally convinced you to go. He was staring at you with those big eyes and he was bathed in the lights of the carnival.
“Can we wait just a second? I really want to take a picture of you right now.” You reach for your phone and quickly snap a photo of him and he laughs a big belly laugh.
“Come here, pookie. We can’t just have a picture of me, it’s gotta be both of us.” He grins and reaches for you, pulling you into his arms and snatching the camera from you. He rests his head on your head and lines up the shot and snaps a photo and then grins, “Ok, now a silly one.”
He screws up his face and you laugh as you close your eyes and stick your tongue out and he snaps a couple more photos, then kisses your cheek and presses the camera button again.
“There! Now we have lots of photos….can we go ride the Ferris wheel now?“ He asks, eyes pleading with you.
You’re silent for a moment as you watch him and he tugs on your hand, pout on his lips as he holds you tight, “Pretty please?”
You sigh, knowing you lost from the moment he put that pout on his face, “Fine…..but we’re going on the swings after.”
“I’ll even win you a new stuffed animal!” Adrian cheers and takes off running towards the bright lights of the Ferris wheel, your hand held tightly in his.
Besides the fact the rocking of the cart makes you want to vomit and Adrian keeps rocking it forward to look a different things, the Ferris wheel was pretty nice. Adrian holds your hand and has an arm draped over your shoulder and he whispers in your ear about everything and anything he sees.
He’s trying to distract you and you love him even more for it. He kisses your temple and squeezes your hand before pulling out his phone and making the cart rock again.
You squeal out his name and he quickly yells, “Sorry sorry sorry! Just wanted to do this.”
He pulls up his camera and quickly kisses you hard and long as you stop at the top of the Ferris wheel.
“Ok, I got it. No more rocking the cart, I promise.” He murmurs, putting his phone away.
“I guess we can rock it a little more.” You smile and kiss him hard again. Your crazy cinnamon roll of a boyfriend.
