Day 21: 365 Days of 369 Madness: 2021 Recap

Louis Tomlinson collage for 2021:

Louis debuted his lockdown locks and it was glorious 😍 He went to Mexico and was hopefully inspired, and looked beautiful playing guitar on the beach. He announced his global partnership with BMG, and Louies hope for better promotion and for work to actually be put into his solo career. He signed the sequence for “singer” (so appropriate and special for him) to promote a young fan’s use of sign language to help her younger brother communicate. He took part in Full-Time meals and proved he didn’t know how to peel a cucumber, but looked cute doing it, and we saw more of his lovely long hair so that was a win. Louis curated and hosted the free Away From Home Festival and then released a documentary surrounding his solo career, and it was honestly amazing and just beautiful to watch. He cut his hair and we mourned the long locks together 🥺 He was fantastic and proved just how hard he works and how he is a solo artist, and the fandom fell for Helene and Charlie and his band as well, particularly Matt 😉 Louis debuted his new song Change and it was amazing. He showed Louies just how much he appreciates their support so often throughout the year, and reminded people why Louies both love him and feel close to him. He went to weddings and to pubs and charmed the locals with footraces and bad pints. He received his official Guinness World Record for ‘Most Tickets Sold for a Livestreamed Concert by a Solo Male Artist’ and I just love that for him. His first world tour was given new dates and bigger venues and gave Louies a lot to look forward to for 2022. He made music and was in the studio and teased his Louies.

It was a rough year, a rough two years really, and Louis has honestly helped me personally get through it. His music makes me feel hopeful and happy, and his beautiful angelic voice just means so much to me. Louis Tomlinson reminded me again and again throughout 2021 why I am a Louie 👍😊

You made my year better, Louis, as you did for a lot of Louies, and I hope you are happy and thriving and making music you are proud of ❤️

Day 20: Louis as your Favorite Holidays Mythological Characters/Story

I got a bit discouraged with this prompt because other Louies are so good at editing and I really suck at editing photos/pictures. Originally I wanted Louis as an elf, a Christmas elf. Not any specific elf, just an elf. I figured he fits that: mischievous and graceful, talented and clever, and very cute if you think about the elves who are particularly cute. The following photo is the best I could do at editing him into a Christmas elf:

And here are some photos of Louis looking cute and cuddly and almost elf-like - in my opinion - with his stance and over-sized clothes. That’s one of the cute things about Louis - his height is around average for a man, but it is his delicate bone structure and body type, and the fact that he wears over-sized sweaters/jackets/jumpers/jackets, that contribute to him looking dainty and smol. Who can blame Louies for thinking that when they see photos like these? 🥺:

So I thought, all right, instead try Louis as a reindeer. Rudolph, to be exact, with his red nose:

Louis as Rudolph: he stands out but is underestimated and underrated. He shines brightly, leads the way in his special way. He steps up and does his best.

I have always loved the way Louis treats fans, how he looks at them and hugs them. There is something very soothing and special about Louis with his Louies 🥺

Thank you to all the Louies out there, and let’s go with Tumblr Louies in particular. I don’t know any Louies in my personal real-life bubble and so I went looking on Tumblr to find the Louis content and the Louies who make up his fandom. Thank you for everything you do for Louis and the way Louies prop each other up is very moving, reminding me of the way Louis checks in and makes Louies feel appreciated and significant. Louis’ fandom is a safe spot for Louies, just like Louis himself. Thank you, Louies. I love this fandom and the continued hope in the harder times of being a Louie. It’s always worth it but we really do have to keep reminding ourselves: ‘Faith in the future’. Louis’ tour next year is a huge moment for him and a big moment for his Louies and I honestly cannot wait. I hope everyone has a wonderful Loucember 😊❤️
